Meeting Place and Start

‍We meet above at the Observatory, postcode BS8 3LT, infront of the 360 café. The Clifton Observatory is a 45 min up hill walk from Bristol City Centre. The Café is open most days. Please arrive 5-10 Minutes before the start. Buses No 8 or 9, run from Temple Meads Station, from Bristol Centre and from Bristol every 15 minutes stopping in central Bristol (Cabot Circus, Nelson Street, Bristol Hippodrome and up past the University) ask for the Clifton Village Bus Stop. Walk towards the big Church and take a left at the mini roundabout. Go towards Bridge, pass the Mall Pub on the left, cross Observatory oad, and up the footpath. Taxis, should drop you by the Mall Pub on the junction of the Mall and Gloucestr Row. Then walk towards the bridge and up the footpath to the Observatory.
